The senior defender on the SU women's soccer team suffered multiple lower leg injuries against Centenary this fall and her loss was definitely felt by the team the rest of the season. Over her career, she had started every match her last two seasons and played in almost all of the rest during her four year career. The Edinburg, TX native (Edinburg HS) was one of the leaders that head coach Nick Morrison could count on with a roster that featured many prominent underclassmen. But Brianna's impact has been felt all over campus. In the classroom, she's earned academic awards every semester for the past three years. She's also highly involved with campus groups and activites. Brianna will graduate in May with a degree in Education.
Cody is a senior midfielder for Schreiner Men's Soccer. Prior to this fall, Cody had four goals on 21 shots over his first three years. This fall, the numbers jumped to three goals and 17 shots as he definitely stepped up his leadership and control of the central third. He finished third on the team in goals and points (7). Originally from Spring Branch, TX (Smithson Valley HS), Cody will graduate with a degree in Exercise Science next spring.
