Visiting Athletic Trainers

On
behalf of the Athletic Training
Staff at Schreiner University, I
would like to welcome you in your
upcoming visit to Kerrville. If
there is anything we can do to
assist you or your team on your
visit, please let us know and we
will try our best to accommodate
you.
Our Athletic Training Room is
located in the Edington Center,
directly across from the gymnasium.
Entrance is available through the
locker rooms. Our taping area is
situated in the main hallway, and is
available for your use pre and post
game. The athletic training room
will be open approximately 2 hours
prior to game time, unless otherwise
noted.
The following items will be provided
on-site for your use during
competition:
Water and cups on bench
Bench towels if appropriate
Injury ice
Emergency Equipment (splints,
backboard, AED)
Limited modality use
If a certified athletic trainer will
not be traveling with the team,
please notify us in advance so that
we may better accommodate your team
on its visit. Please provide an
athletic training kit, as well as
any other necessary supplies that
your team may require. If an
athletic training student will be
accompanying the team as a first
responder, and would like to use any
modalities, a signed letter of
request from the Head Athletic
Trainer detailing parameters, and
what is needed is REQUIRED.
