Matt Franklin
6'2" Shooting
Guard
McMullen County High School (2006)
Tilden, TX
Matt recently finished a highly-successful
career at McMullen County. He was named to
the TABC All-Regional team after a senior season
that saw him average 16 points, 8 rebounds, and
two assists and steals per game. For his
efforts, he was named District 31-A MVP, San
Antonio Express - Area MVP and Port Aransas
Tournament MVP. He was also invited to
play in the 2006 Centex All-Star game. He
was the team captain for MCHS this past year and
made 114 three-point baskets. He was also
named first team All-District after his junior
season and second team All-District as a
sophomore. His success translated to the
classroom as well as he was named to the
All-State Academic Team in 2006. |

Collyn Kelley
6'2" Guard
Goliad High School (2006)
Goliad, TX
Collyn recently completed a career that saw him
become Goliad's all-time leader in points,
rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. He
was named District MVP, TABC All-Region, TABC
All-State, Victoria Advocate First Team All
Area, Texas Basketball Magazine Pre-Season
First Team All-State as well as Taft and Goliad
Tournament Co-MVP. He was selected to play
in the Zebra Roundup All-Star game and the THSCA
All-Star Game. He finished his career with over
2,000 pts, 900 rebounds, 500 assists, and 300
steals and was part of a team that had 97 wins
in his four years on varsity.. He was also
a standout student, earning Academic
All-District and Academic All-State. |

Cory Tellis
5'10" Guard
Clear Brook High School (2006)
Friendswood, TX
Cory is a two-year letterman for the Clear Brook
Wolverines and averaged 6 pts, 2 assists and 2
steals per game. He shot 43% from
three-point range and 82% from the free throw
line last year.
He is a member of the AAU Brazoria Ballers,
coached by Frank Watson. Cory averaged 10
points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals per
game, shot 85% on FT and 43% on his three-point
attempts. Cory's an outstanding student as
well. He was named to "Who's Who Among
American High School Students" and is a member
of the National Society of High School Scholars. |

Andrew Garrett
5'10" Guard
Ovilla Christian School (2006)
Ovilla, TX
Andrew
played all of his three varsity years at Ovilla
Christian under Head Coach Chris Hydock. He
started as the shooting guard during his
sophomore and junior seasons and then made the
transition to point guard for his senior
campaign. He was named Second Team All-District
his sophomore year and First Team both his
junior & senior years. He was also named
All-Tournament in the 2006 Grandview Zebra
Invitational. Andrew played AAU
basketball for Coach Thomas Hill (former Duke
All-American). As a senior, Andrew
averaged 17 ppg, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 2
steals; and completed his high school years with
the second highest career point scorer in the
history of the OCS Men’s Varsity Basketball
program. Academically, Andrew was a
“Distinguished Graduate” maintaining an “A”
average throughout high school. |

Anthony Moye
6'3" Power Forward
Harker Heights High School (2006)
Killeen, TX
Anthony was a member of the 2006 13-5A District
Champion Harker Heights Knights. He
averaged 9 points, 7 rebounds and 1.3
blocks/game and received the Knights Valor
Award. His HHHS teams were district
champions each of his four years. Anthony
has played AAU Basketball since middle school.
During that time he has played on The Texas
Ambassadors (coached by Max Ivany), the Capital
City Heat (Tim Farley) and the Future Stars
(Darryl Cress). Academically, he has
received the Distinguished Honor Award, "Who's
Who Among American High School Students" (all
four years) and is currently a member of
the National Scholars Honor Society and Top
Teens of America, Inc. |

Chris Jones-Conyers
6'0" Forward
Bastrop High School (2005) / North Lake College
Bastrop, TX
Chris comes to Schreiner after one year at North
Lake where he was redshirted. At Bastrop,
Chris played on the varsity program his final
three years there. As a senior, he was
named First Team All-District and Team MVP
despite making the move from forward to center.
That year, he averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds and
4 assists per game and shot 68% from the field
(including 40% from three-point range) and 77%
from the free-throw line. |
