Coach Daniel Perez comes to Schreiner from New Braunfels Christian Academy, where he served as the Head Boy’s Varsity and Junior Varsity basketball coach from 2005-2008. In his three seasons as head coach, Coach Perez compiled an overall record of 47-34, including this final season of 21-7, which was the best record in school history. Coach Perez has also spent the last 5 summers as the Head Coach for the Seguin Hoops Basketball AAU High School Program in Seguin, TX.

Coach Daniel Perez started his coaching career under Head Coach Tom Oswald at Texas Lutheran University (NCAA D-III) as the Student Assistant Coach from 2002-2005, which is where he received his Bachelor of Science degree as a Kinesiology Specialist. Coach Perez resides in Kerrville, TX with his beloved new wife Hayley.
