Freshman Michael Maia was the top finisher for Schreiner Men’s Cross Country at the Texas Division III Championships at McMurry University in Abilene with a time of 34:06.  Junior Lupe Garza finished not far behind with a time of 34:50.  Garza improved his time over a similar race the week before by three minutes.  Sophomore Matt Tomasello improved his time by better than one minute.  Coach Rodney Holland saw much improvement from the first race but said the team still has a long way to go.
