Finishes 7th at UTSA Fiesta/Ricardo Romo Classic

Mountaineers prepare for UTSA race to start on Friday
The Schreiner Men's Cross
Country team ran it's second race of the 2009 season and
finished seventh at the Ricardo Romo/Six Flags Fiesta
Texas Classic on Friday. The race was hosted by
UTSA and was run at Brooks City Base.
Sophomore Dionel Alves was again SU's top finisher and
came in 32nd place overall with a time of 18:31 for the
race. Brothers Ryan (19:44) and Michael Maia
(20:05) finished next for the Mountaineers followed by
Tom Pappas (20:28), Jonathan Ferguson (21:15), Ben
O'Neill (21:17) and Aaron Marshall (21:59).
Schreiner's next race is this Saturday at the Texas
D-III Championships in Seguin.
