field, etc: When I played
the Greater Houston Junior
Championship for HCA golf
tour, I shot a 32 on the
front 9 at the Redstone
Tournament Course from the
tips. I had 5 birdies, 1
bogey and 3 pars.
Something I always pack to
take with me on a road trip:
My golf clubs.
In the locker room before a
game I am the player that
is: Focused, but lightening
the room trying to motivate
others to do well.
Pre-game superstition: I
always have to have a golf
tee behind my right ear, or
else I do not believe I will
play well.
If I could have dinner with
three people (living or
deceased) I would choose:
because: Tiger Woods,
because maybe I could
convince him to play golf
with me. Jesus, because he
died for us and he did
amazing things in his life,
even though people did not
believe in him. George Lopez
, because I could convince
him to play golf with me, he
is funny and I could speak
Spanish with him.
If I could travel to any
place in the world, it would
be to: because: I would
travel to Spain, because it
is really beautiful place
with a lot of history and I
would have the opportunity
to speak Spanish.
If I won the Lottery, I
would: I would save however
much money college costs, I
would save more for when I
get out of college and I
would give my parents money
because if he did not have
me he would be a
millionaire. I would run for
office and I would donate
the rest to help others out.
If I could be anyone for one
day, I would be: Tiger
Woods, so I could figure out
what he does to play golf so
well.
When not playing my sport or
studying, I: Am enjoying
life by fishing, going to
church, hanging out with
friends or drinking milk.
My most treasured possession
is: My coins that are 100
years old that I have been
collecting.
People would be surprised to
know about me: I can do a
hand stand longer than 5
minutes and I can walk
around on my hands.
My favorite quote/word to
live by: “IF you put your
heart into what you do and
never give up, your dreams
will come true.”
My advice to young players:
Play and practice as much as
you can and do not let
anything or anyone stop you
from what you are doing. If
you have the motivation and
drive to play in college,
you can. I did not think I
could make it, but here I
am. Put your heart into
everything you do and never
let anyone tell you it is
not possible.
The thing I like best about
SU is: The friendliness of
the students and the campus.
What inspires me? Making my
Dad proud, seeing everything
my Dad sacrificed for our
family, giving my future
kids more thanks than I had
as a kid and making people
proud.
What’s the weirdest food you
have eaten and liked? Frog
legs.
Ten years from now I hope to
be: playing golf
professionally and happily
