Earns both d3kicks.com Team and ASC Player of
the Week

Ernest Villarreal
had a big final regular-season weekend.
Now, he has picked up two honors. He was
named the American Southwest Conference Player
of the Week for his three goal, one assist
weekend as the Mountaineers won at Louisiana
College on Friday and at Mississippi College on
Saturday. Today, it was announced that
Villarreal's weekend performance has earned him
a spot on the d3kicks.com team of the week.

a national soccer website for NCAA Division III
soccer.
Villarreal had one assist in SU's 4-0 shutout at
LC. On Saturday, his three goal hat-trick
- his first as a collegiate player - led
Schreiner to an important 4-2 win at Mississippi
College. He is the first Schreiner player
to earn the d3kicks.com honor and the first
Mountaineer soccer player to win player of the
week in 2006. |
