SU Suffers Pair
of Road Losses
Two of
the ASC's best teams took advantage of Schreiner
in a pair of lopsided road losses this weekend.
Ozarks, currently ranked #1 in the ASC, broke
open a 2-1 match in the second half for a 4-1
win. Sunday, Schreiner was easily handled
at UT-Dallas, 6-0.
At University of the Ozarks, UO looked poised to
take a 2-0 lead into halftime, but sophomore
Dean Ellis cut the lead in half with one minute
remaining before the break to make it 2-1.
It was his second goal of the year.
Freshman Juan Bonilla earned his first
collegiate assist on the play.
Unfortunately for the Mountaineers, Ozarks took
control in the second half with two additional
goals and earned the 4-1 victory.
Against UT-Dallas, the home team again broke out
to a 2-0 first half lead. This time, there
was no threat of an SU comeback as UT-Dallas
dominated the second half as well. |
