Franklin File:
Hobbies: Black and white photography, playing
bridge and spades, reading Christian fiction
books
Favorite Food: Vietnamese
Favorite snack food: Beef jerky
Favorite pre-game meal: The night before I play
I like to eat chicken and rice
Favorite restaurant: Pho Mi (near Houston on
I-10)
"Must see" TV for me: Lost, Smallville, Heroes,
The Office, Ace of Cakes
Favorite film of all time: Top Gun
Best film I've seen lately: Iron man
Favorite moment(s) on court, field, etc.:
Knowing that I played my best and had fun
regardless of the outcome
Something I always pack for a game/match road
trip: Granola Bars
In the locker room before a game/match, I am the
player that is: Doing what I can to get rid of
nervousness
One word that best describes me is: Respectful
If I could travel to any place in the world, it
would be: Japan - it has the perfect mix of
feudal towns in the mountains and mega cities
with lots of interesting people, food and new
things to see
If I could have dinner with three people (living
or deceased) it would be: because: My
grandfather - I knew him in his 80's but I'd
like to know about him as a younger version,
King David - to hear his war stories and how it
really went down when he killed Goliath or how
crazy his troop of might men was, and the
Apostle Paul - to better understand the life of
a Christian in his time and who he was beyond
what we read in scripture
If I could be anyone for one day, I would be:
Clark Kent/Superman - but he is fictitious. If I
could be any one really alive I would be George
Lucas
My most treasured possession: My Grandfather's
old fashioned baseball glove; the one that looks
like a hand
People would be surprised to know about me: I
listen to classical music
Favorite quote/words to live by: "My lifeguard
walks on water" from a church sign I saw in
Virginia
The thing I like best about SU is: Its easy to
know people since the classes are smaller
The thing that inspires me is: Knowing that I
have a full life ahead of me to learn and
understand my surroundings and even then realize
that not everything can be "explained" by
applied studies
In ten years I hope to be: Happy, married and
living a full life
