Southwestern University escaped with a narrow 5-4 win over visiting Schreiner when Dan Otto scored a slim 6-3, 5-7, 7-6 win over SU's Brent Coleman at #3 singles.  Schreiner got the early lead after doubles action as both the Mountaineers #2 (Christian Sasam and Coleman) and #3 (Ben Jackson and Riley Winterringer) teams won their respective matches.  Sasam and Coleman won their match 8-2 over Dan Otto and Matt Morrow while Jackson and Winterringer won their match 8-4 over Charles Prence and Sean Kessinger

In singles action, Carlo Sasam at #2 singles (6-2, 6-2 over Morrow) and Zach Browning at #6 singles (6-3, 6-1 over Prence) also won their matches so the outcome came down to the decisive match at #3 singles.
