Tennis Stumbles to 9-0 Loss to UMHB

Chestnut serves in a recent match.
Schreiner came up on the wrong side of a 9-0 loss to
visiting Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday at SU's George and
Frances Cree Tennis Complex.
The Mountaineers (1-1 in
ASC, 2-9 overall) had a tight match at #1 doubles as
freshman Trey Hernandez and sophomore Tory Manchester
dropped an 8-6 decision.
The best match in singles was at #2, where sophomore Danny
Okland was edged by UMHB's Daniel White, 6-3, 7-5.
Sophomore Jacob Chesnut lost at #3 singles by a 6-2, 6-3
count.
The Mountaineer will play
their next match on Tuesday at Howard Payne. |
