Texas Lutheran was dominant in beating Schreiner at the
George and Frances Cree Tennis Complex on Wednesday.
TLU never dropped a set in the victory.
The closest matches of the day were at #4 and #5 singles.
Sophomore Tory Manchester was edged by TLU's Jason Nave,
4-6, 4-6 at #4, while SU's Stephen Franklin lost a close
match at #5, 4-6, 6-7 (5-7).
The Bulldogs swept the doubles
action fairly easily and never looked back.
SU travels to Abilene to take on both Hardin-Simmons and
McMurry over the next two days. |
