Lee Jennings enters his 17th year as head coach at Schreiner University.  During his tenure, he has quietly built a regional tennis powerhouse in the heart of the Hill Country.  Lee has coached three NAIA All-Americans, had teams and players advance to the national tournament on nine occasions and has guided the Mountaineers to post season play eleven times during his tenure. Jennings has garnered "Coach of the Year" awards in both the Heart of Texas Conference (NAIA) in 1995 and the American Southwest Conference (NCAA D-III) in both 2005 and 2000.  His men's team won the American Southwest Conference team championship in 1999. 

In addition to his coaching duties at Schreiner University, Lee serves as Head Tennis Pro and Director at the Kerrville - H.E.B. Municipal Tennis Center.  Passionate coaching, in conjunction with knowledge, integrity, and experience have earned Jennings the respect and admiration of both his colleagues and our community.  He is a certified member of the USPTA, and has been teaching tennis for 32 years.

He and his wife Gwen have four children; Lance 30, Kathryn 26, Megan 17 and Lee III 14. They are members of the First Presbyterian Church, Kerrville.
