John Wyatt Greenlee begins his second
season at the helm of the Schreiner Volleyball program.
Greenlee inherited an eight person squad in 2004
and made the best of a tough situation going 7-21
on the year.
A new era in Schreiner volleyball
begins in 2005 with a solid core of veterans, a
strong recruiting class, and a committed, dedicated
coach. Greenlee arrived at Schreiner one year ago
after guiding the Kendall College (Evanston, IL)
women’s volleyball team to its first post
season appearance in three years. Greenlee received
conference Coach of the Year honors after leading
the Kendall College men’s volleyball team
to its first conference championship and a national
NAIA ranking of 6th.
John and success seem to be synonymous.
Prior to Kendall College, he led the East Stroudsburg (PA - NCAA
Division II) University women’s volleyball
team to a two-year conference record of 18-2 (9-1
each year) and a first-time NCAA tournament invitation.
John was chosen as the Pennsylvania State Athletic
Conference (PSAC) East Division Coach of the Year.
John graduated from Hamilton College
in Clinton, New York, with an Artium Baccalaureatus
in History and Classical Studies. He is a native
of Salt Lake City, Utah. Greenlee and his wife,
Vanessa, currently reside in Kerrville.
