several team records in
winning big over
visiting Schreiner,
91-33. The
visiting Mountaineers
got behind early but
were still fairly close
at halftime, trailing
37-21. In the
second half, the full
scholarship Lady Broncs
dominated the
non-scholarship
Schreiner squad.
SU continued its recent
cold shooting, managing
just 29% from the field
in the first half.
In the second half, it
got worse as the
Mountaineers could only
muster four field goals
on 13% shooting and only
shot 20% for the game.
Junior Monica Enriquez
led the team with 11
points but only had one
assist in the game.
Freshman Lee Richardson
had 7 points to go with
a team-high 7 boards.
Freshman Anna Fareed
dished out three assists
in the loss.
