McMurry Routes Schreiner
in Abilene
McMurry came out on
fire, quickly built a
big lead and showed no
mercy in the second half
in a 108-46 home win.
McMurry shot 53% from
the floor in the first
half and built a 55-20
bulge at the break.
In the second half, they
were even hotter,
hitting 58% of their
shots. With a
40-plus point lead,
McMurry strangely
decided to press the
Mountaineers even though
the game was not even
close. In the end,
McMurry finished with
its largest lead of the
game.
Freshman Hannah Burleson
led all Mountaineer
players with 11 points.

finished with 8 points
and 6 assists. SU
committed 32 turnovers
and was out-rebounded
44-22 by ASC
