Senior Monica Enriquez and freshman Hannah Burleson each earned All-ASC recognition from the recently-completed season.

Enriquez (Corpus Christi, TX) was again named first team All ASC West Division in 2009.  She finished her brilliant Schreiner career last week and will be in the SU record books in several categories for many years to come.  During her four years, she scored 1,557 points, pulled down 455 rebounds, dished out 399 assists and had 352 steals.

In her freshman season, she was recognized as a first team All-ASC West Division player for the first time.  Enriquez also added second team All-ASC last year and was honorable mention all-conference in 2006-07.

This season, Enriquez was sixth in the ASC averaging 15.4 points per game, sixth in assists at 3.8/game, led the ASC in steals with 3.8 per game and was sixth in the league in minutes played.  Her four year career was remarkably consistent in all four categories.  Her best scoring year was her first season with 425 points.  Her best rebounding year was her junior season with 135.  Her best assists year was her sophomore season with 104 and her best year for steals was this past year with 96.

Burleson (Barksdale, TX) improved her scoring throughout the season and ended up the year with a 9.1 scoring average.  Her best game came on February 5th at Howard Payne when she scored 22 points.
