Enriquez Picks Up More
All-ASC Hardware;
Burleson Makes All-Frosh

Monica Enriquez ended
her career as she began
it - as a first team
All-ASC West performer.
Senior Monica Enriquez
and freshman Hannah
Burleson each earned
All-ASC recognition from
the recently-completed
season.
Enriquez
(Corpus Christi, TX) was
again named first team
All ASC West Division in
2009. She finished her brilliant
Schreiner career last
week and will be in the
SU record books in
several categories for
many years to come.
During her four years,
she scored 1,557 points,
pulled down 455
rebounds, dished out 399
assists and had 352
steals.
In her freshman season,
she was recognized as a
first team All-ASC West
Division player for the
first time.
Enriquez also added
second team All-ASC last
year and was honorable
mention all-conference
in 2006-07.
This season, Enriquez
was sixth in the ASC
averaging 15.4 points
per game, sixth in
assists at 3.8/game, led the ASC in steals
with 3.8 per game and
was sixth in the league
in minutes played.
Her four year career was
remarkably consistent in
all four categories.
Her best scoring year
was her first season with 425
points. Her best
rebounding year was her
junior season with 135.
Her best assists year
was her sophomore season
with 104 and her best
year for steals was this
past year with 96.
Burleson (Barksdale, TX) improved her
scoring throughout the
season and ended up the
year with a 9.1 scoring
average. Her best
game came on February
5th at Howard Payne when
she scored 22 points.
