Matt begins his fourth season as assistant coach for Schreiner's Women's
Basketball program and second assisting Jeanette McKinney.
Matt is from San Antonio, TX and is a graduate of O'Connor
High School. Although he stopped playing competitive
basketball after his freshman season, his love for coaching
the game has only grown in the years since.
Although he has been a full-time student throughout, Matt
still found time to satisfy the urge to coach by coaching
middle school intramurals prior to joining the SU coaching
staff in 2002.
Matt is a math major in his senior year at Schreiner and has
his teacher certification.
Upon graduation, he
is considering graduate school and will likely be a high school basketball
coach and teacher.
