Basketball took another
big step forward in
2011-12, tying the
school record for wins
in a season in the NCAA
era. Two of the
team's biggest
contributors earned
recognition from the
American Southwest
Conference as sophomore
Olivia Swarner earned
Honorable Mention All-ASC
West and
Karisa Cantu
was named
ASC West Division
Freshman of the Year.

Concordia-TX earned its
first outright ASC West
Division title by
getting by Schreiner,
60-48, in Kerrville in
the season finale for
the Mountaineers and for
senior Lia Phillips.
