Mercado, Ponse,
Reamsnyder Compete at CTX Invitational
AUSTIN, TX --
Freshmen Adriana Mercado, Victoria Ponse and Katherine Reamsnyder each
put in solid performances at the Concordia Invitational
in representing the SU program.
Mercado was the top finisher of the three and ran the wooded
5k course in a time of 21:56 followed by Ponse's time of 23:54. Reamsnyder's time
was 26:43. Both Ponse and Reamsnyder joined the team after the
season began and are getting themselves up to speed as
the season goes along. Mercado finished 71st in
the strong field that featured runners from NCAA
Division I, II and III.
Both Schreiner teams compete in Seguin, TX in the final
meet of the year, the ASC Championships, which will be
run on the Texas Lutheran campus. |
