Scoreless Draw
Schreiner and McMurry
played 90 minutes of regulation and two overtime
periods but neither team could manage a goal in a
0-0 tie. Freshman goalkeeper Kari Kriegel and
the Schreiner defense recorded their second shutout
in three matches this season for the Mountaineers
(1-1-1, 0-1-1 in ASC).
Statistically, Schreiner had a slight edge in both
shots (16-14) and shots-on-goal (10-8) over the
homestanding McMurry team. Kriegel recorded 8
saves in the match. |
