Women's Soccer Falls in Both Road
Matches
Schreiner lost two
road contests by 4-1 and 5-0 counts this weekend.
At the University of the Ozarks, SU fell behind 2-0
by halftime but cut the lead in half 10 minutes into
the second stanza on freshman Natalie White's fourth
goal of the year. Sophomore Kathryn Fondon
picked up the assist - her second of the season.
It took UO less than a minute to respond and push
the lead back to two, 3-1. They added another
goal minutes later to remove any doubt about the
match's outcome.
At the University of Texas-Dallas, SU fell behind by
three at halftime and was never a threat. In
the two matches, the Mountaineers were outshot 52-7. |
