Picks Up All-ASC Hardware Again

For the second time in as many years, Schreiner
sophomore Danni Gomez was recognized on the All-ASC
list for her strong play. Gomez, a midfielder
from San Antonio (James Madison HS), led the team in
most offensive categories.
She tied for the lead in goals for a team that had
trouble scoring this fall, but also led the team in
shots and shots-on-goal.
SU had trouble with injuries all fall but Gomez
wasn't impacted until the second half of the final
match of the season, when she fell victim to a knee
injury. It is hoped that the injury won't
require surgery. |
