D-II St. Mary's Shuts Out Schreiner, 9-0

St. Mary's easily handled undermanned Schreiner, 9-0, in San Antonio.  St. Mary's, an NCAA Division II program, won all seven matches it played as well as two matches that Schreiner had to forfeit because the team only traveled five players. 

St. Mary's easily dispatched SU in doubles action.  In singles, the Mountaineers (0-1) had some success.  Freshman Michelle Martinez gave the most spirited fight to her opponent, Hayley Harris, but eventually fell, 1-6, 5-7 at #2 singles.  Junior Stephanie Reed dropped a 4-6, 1-6 decision at #3 singles.
