Leeigh Ann Sudbury begins her first year as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Schreiner University. Prior to Schreiner, Leeigh Ann served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for LeTourneau University. At LeTourneau, she worked primarily with the men's and women's soccer and tennis teams as well as the softball program. Sudbury was also active in the athletic training coverage for LETU's baseball and cross country programs under head athletic trainer Portia Phillips.
Sudbury graduated from LeTourneau University in May, 2016 with a Master’s degree in Psychology. She is a 2014 graduate of the University of Texas-Arlington, where she received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training.
At UT-Arlington, Sudbury gained valuable experience working with many sports and programs. She worked on the rehabilitation of injuries and managed therapeutic treatments in addition to event coverage. Sudbury gained clinical experience as a student athletic trainer with the football program at Southern Methodist University in addition to her work with the UT-Arlington softball, volleyball, basketball and wheelchair basketball teams. She has volunteer experience with the World Olympic Gymnastics Academy and the United States Wheelchair Basketball Team.
As a student, Sudbury was active in the Maverick Society of Athletic Training Students,
where she served as President in 2013 and Secretary in 2012. She is a member of the
National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association.
Leeigh Ann enjoys baking and spending time outdoors with her dog, Oreo, during free time. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Sudbury has 11 siblings, 6 brothers and 5 sisters, so there is never a dull moment.
