A hit batter and an error led to the three run rally that clinched the win. The victory went to junior Kyle Baird who pitched the seventh inning.

In the earlier game, the Mountaineers scored four times in the second but couldn't hold the lead. Schreiner to two hits each from Canales, Hohhertz, freshmen Josh Gilliam and Sammy Garcia. Sophomore Derek Gonzales was charged with the loss.
