This will be Shane's third season with Schreiner Men's Soccer. Currently, he is the
head boys soccer coach at Our Lady of the Hills in Kerrville. During his first three
years at the helm of OLH, he had taken a team that had never won a game to a record
of 22-16-1 Included in that are a regional playoff appearance last fall and a first-ever
TAPPS playoff appearance in his second season. Last season he took the team to the
regional play off game, 2011 season record for the team was 9-4.
He currently is the Director of Coaching for the Hill Country Crush Soccer Academy and has taken several teams to the state championship tournament. Last year, he was named to the South Texas Olympic Development Program Staff.
Shane was a standout goalkeeper at Tivy High School in Kerrville and played for the San Antonio Generals club team, both for four years. At Tivy, he was all-district for two of his four years there.
He holds a USSF National "C" license as well as a National "Y" license for youth. He and his wife, Mandy, have two sons, Peyton Russ and Cade. He was born in Kerrville.
