Nick Morrison was named head coach for Schreiner Women's Soccer in December of 2012. In his first three seasons, he transformed the program and built the Mountaineers into one of the strongest teams in the SCAC. The Mountaineers have made steady progress each of his five seasons. For his efforts, Coach Morrison has been named SCAC Coach-of-the-Year each twice in his time at Schreiner.

Coach Morrison returned to Schreiner after serving as Assistant Women's Soccer Coach and Assistant Athletic Academic Coordinator at Prairie View A&M (NCAA Division I) for the past four seasons.  Working for and with another former Schreiner soccer player, Abe Garcia, Morrison helped build the PVAMU soccer team from one of the worst in all of D-I sports to a team that won its division in 2012.  Along the way, the program has annually set school records and have steadily progressed up to the top of the SWAC western division for the first time ever.  Morrison also serves as the program's Goalkeeping Coach.  Academically, under Morrison's guidance, the Panthers have had outstanding success in the classroom as well.

Morrison was a standout performer both between the goal pipes and with the books at Schreiner.  As a freshmen (2005), he set the school record for most shutouts in a season (7.0) and anchored the best defensive unit in SU history (0.95 GAA).  He was named first team All-ASC after his first season.  In 2006, Morrison had four more shutouts as Schreiner men's soccer completed it's most successful two-year run in school history.  That 2006 squad was the first and only SU team to host an American Southwest Conference championship tournament.  He again was named First Team All-ASC.  Unfortunately, a lingering illness cost him most of his junior year and misfortune continued his final season.  He reinjured his knee (he had two knee surgeries in high school) very early in his senior year and saw his career come to a premature end.  Still, in just over two seasons, his 12 shutouts rank #2 in school history.  He was also a three-time Academic All-ASC selection and graduated in May of 2009 with a degree in Exercise Science.

Coach Morrison also continued his academic pursuits while working at Prairie View A&M.  He earned his Master's of Education degree in Health & Human Performance in May of 2011.

Known as a strong recruiter and student of the game, Morrison draws on both his recruiting and coaching skills as he has built a new era of Schreiner Women's Soccer.
